Worship is an encounter with God.  We place ourselves at the feet of God with our prayers, our praises, and our laments.  We listen to God's Word and how it speaks in our lives and in this world.  We go out as people who have been changed, giving our lives as an offering to our Lord.

Pella Reformed Church.  That's our church's name, and it clues us into our identity.  But have you ever wondered what that word "Reformed" meant?  Have you ever had people ask you "What kind of church is that!?"  Did you have a good answer to the question?  Since being Reformed is a part of who we are, we are going to spend the next number of weeks talking about what it means to be "Reformed" people.  We'll explore some fundamentals of Reformed Faith, where we find our roots in history, and most importantly how being Reformed can make a difference in the world today.  This will be a time of exploration and growth for everyone who has grown up in the Reformed tradition, as well as anyone who finds themselves new to it!  Please join us as we discover what it means to live out our faith in today's world.
