Jesus Christ is our salvation. Through his life, death, resurrection, and ascension, we have been set free from sin and given new life. We believe that through Jesus, we are free to receive God’s love and to share that love with the world. We believe that this love of God is a gift to us, given freely by God, not because of anything we have done to earn or deserve it.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and it is to be our only rule of faith and practice. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He is God the Son. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity and it is through His power that each of us is equipped to live the Christian life.
Pella is one of more than nine hundred congregations in the Reformed Church in America (RCA). The RCA has ministered in our own country and in missionary programs throughout the world since 1628. This gives us the distinction of being one of the oldest Protestant denominations on the North American continent.
